Pokémon TCG Pocket is bringing a major update to its trade system. It not only changes the trade system, but also adds a new feature.
The new addition is the wishlist feature, which allows players to mark up to twenty cards to trade with other players. They can also select up to three wishlisted cards to display on their profile, allowing other players to see them.
The new trade system will no longer need trade tokens or consumed cards. It will now require Shinedust for ◆◆◆, ◆◆◆◆, and ★ rarity cards. The game also rewards double the shinedust amount when acquiring a card already registered in the card dex.
Trade tokens will be discontinued after the update. Any user with extra trade tokens can exchange them for shinedust or pack hourglasses. The pack hourglasses exchange is limited to sixty chances, unlike the unlimited exchanges for shinedust.
To prepare the update, trading will be disabled from 11:00 p.m. PST on July 24 to 10:59 p.m. PST on July 29. It won’t be possible to trade cards for trade tokens after 6 pm PST on July 29, before the major trade update.

I feel like i’m the only one who hasn’t used this feature…. meh… the downsides of not having friends
Trading always felt a bit clunky to me, especially managing tokens and sacrificed cards. The wishlist feature is smart, it reminds me how much easier life gets when expectations are visible, whether it’s trading cards or planning family dinners. I like that shinedust rewards duplicates too; it makes bad pulls sting less. The downtime is a bit annoying, but big updates usually are. Anytime systems change, I skim player feedback first, kind of like reading PlayOJO reviews before trying something new. Overall, this feels more player-friendly and long overdue.
