3D character modeller’s LinkedIn mentions work on Nintendo SRPG sequel exclusive to Switch 2

It has been discovered via a 3D character modeller’s LinkedIn account that they are working on a Nintendo strategy RPG sequel which is exclusive to the recently launched Nintendo Switch 2. It sounds likely that this is could be a new Fire Emblem game, though we obviously don’t have official confirmation on that. Taksehi Maruyama, the individual concerned, has worked on a number of projects in the past and was a 3D character model designer for SEGA from 2019 to 2022. No doubt we will hear more about this project in the near future.

  1. If you scroll down to the experience section, his SEGA role was actuallly from September 2019 to August 2022.

        1. Use your brain, it’s the cheapest console on the market and it will never be bricked if you aren’t a POS and follow the rules that every console maker has in place. Did you start gaming yesterday or only do this to Nintendo?

    1. Wait… you are upset that Nintendo is making games for their console?
However, I am enjoying the irony of someone who made a brain dead comment telling others to use their brain.

    2. How much were you actually expecting a powerful hybrid system from Ninty to be?

Also, price gouging is the practice of dramatically increasing prices for essential goods and services during a time of emergency or crisis. A video game console isn’t an essential, it’s a luxury. Don’t lie to make your point. It makes you look petty, childish, and undermines your point.

    3. Nothing is locked behind it, exclusives are highly pro-consumer. They offer the consumer value in a brand they purchase, as well as force the industry into competition, both of which are great for consumers. You need only to look at Xbox since they went 3rd party in 2017 to see the extremely low quality efforts they’ve made and how nobody bats an eye when they announce anything anymore to see how getting rid of exclusivity hurts. Remember their last exclusive was in 2015.

Also, crazy how if you don’t follow the rules you pay the price for that. Mod your console all you want, but don’t be a POS and take it online to ruin everyone else’s experience; you aren’t the only one who bought a console nor does the world revolve around you. It amazes me people are so entitled in the gaming community.

  2. The SOURCE of this information is Doctre81 on his Youtube channel. Is there a reason why they were not credited?

    1. I would love it to be a new Mario + Rabbids, but given how racist Ubisoft is and how it’s been revealed since its inclusion in AC Shadows that they support child predators and molestation, no real gamer is playing anything from them for the foreseeable future.

  3. I mean it could be a few games, but Fire Emblem is the most likely candidate. but here are a few that could get sequels Triangle Strategy and Mario Rabbids. Now Disgaea Series is on all platforms but Nintendo has had exclusive games from other companies before.

  4. Wow, a new strategy RPG sequel for the Nintendo Switch 2 sounds exciting, especially if it’s a Fire Emblem game! Can’t wait to see what Taksehi Maruyama’s 3D character designs bring to this project.
