New patent hints that trading could come to Pokemon Sleep

A newly publicised Pokemon Sleep patent reveals specifications for a potential Pokemon trading and transfer system. While it’s just a patent at present it does show that the team has been considering adding trading to the Sleep Style Dex. Players who participate in Pokemon Sleep will have presumably gathered a number of Pokemon in the morning after a long and eventful sleep, so this would be a great way to get rid of Pokemon you don’t want or need by re-rolling a Pokemon every morning. Trading partners are matched randomly based on their sleep timing with the patent noting that traded objects may transform into different objects. As always this is a patent and may or may not be used by The Pokemon Company.
