A Mario fan on Reddit believes that they have discovered the official X account for the series upcoming 40th anniversary, which was registered in July 2020. As you may remember, Nintendo did a similar thing and registered an account in July 2020 for Mario’s 35th anniversary. The Gamer website believes this one could be the real deal, but as always we will just have to wait and see. Mario’s 40th anniversary is in September, so fingers crossed we hear something soon about what the Kyoto-based company has planned.
