While acclaimed developer Hideo Kojima has nothing to do with the Metal Gear franchise nowadays, Konami is determined to get the beloved series going again. The company has been training up younger developers in an effort to continue Kojima’s masterful work on the series. While the latest game Metal Gear Solid Delta isn’t coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, the series could eventually come to the platform as Konami will likely want to bring the game to as many platforms as possible.
“So, one of the reasons why we brought in a lot of fresh meat — all the new, younger developers — is because, not only did we want to give them a chance to figure out how to create and develop a Metal Gear game, but also give them a chance to experience the game themselves,” Okamura adds. “And we’ll still be here for a while, but right now the goal is to build a team that could carry on the legacy on our behalf and could produce, hopefully in the future, more exciting games.”

Great outstanding achievement.
Konami doesn’t care about it’s Developers
That’s a lie pushed by Kojima cultists to slander Konami. Reminder he treated deus poorly not wanting others to receive credit for fixing his garbage he had articles and interviews taken down and was VP at Konami everyone forgets he was an executive and on the board or that he doesn’t know how to program only write story and even then numerous other people like Fukushima had to rewrite what he did. Konami is a company not just gaming they needed to restructure after Kojima ruined them with overly expensive MGS5 which couldn’t make back how much they spent to make it. Unlike Igarashi who ia talented, Kojima has none.
Triggered corporate shill not living in reality or knowing what they are talking about.
No thats Kojimatards look how is DS2 treating you? Or him supporting AI and taking Saudi money? Yeah your messiah who treated staff horribly getting articles taken down.
