Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection is shaping up to be a must have for fans of the Mortal Kombat series and fighting game aficionados in general. The lid has been lifted on the collection at Gamescom and we now know the full lineup of games and the various versions on offer. The Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection even includes the WaveNet edition of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3. The only thing missing now is a firm release date.
The Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection final lineup includes:
- Mortal Kombat – 1992 (Arcade, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, Game Gear)
- Mortal Kombat II – 1993 (Arcade, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, 32X)
- Mortal Kombat 3 – 1995 (Arcade, SNES, Genesis)
- Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 – 1995 (Arcade, WaveNet Arcade, SNES)
- Mortal Kombat Trilogy – 1996 (PlayStation)
- Mortal Kombat 4 – 1997 (Arcade)
- Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero – 1997 (PlayStation)
- Mortal Kombat Special Forces – 2000 (PlayStation)
- Mortal Kombat Advance – 2001 (Game Boy Advance)
- Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance – 2002 (Game Boy Advance)
- Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition – 2003 (Game Boy Advance)

No MK4 Gold, no N64 Trilogy or Mythologies. No Game Boy/GBC game.
Trash.
I agree i also feel like they need deception and mk 3d ha as funny as that is its an old game so we need it also mortal kombat unchained and the game called mortal kombat 1 and 2
N64 trilogy was trash. Less characters (shao kahn and co, mk1/2 versions of characters) less and worse sounding music, less stages. I wad about big n64 fan but the ps1 version was far superior. Unfortunately the loading times let it down.
No one cares about the gb and gbc games.
But agreed on mk4 gold. No shaolin monks either. But you know they’ll come via dlc
Needs N64 Trilogy!
There are a couple strange omissions but I’m still hype for this!
This Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection looks incredible! So many classic titles, it’s a nostalgia trip. Reminds me of simpler times, playing io games online with friends after school. The inclusion of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3’s WaveNet edition is a huge win. Hope they nail the online experience; imagine matches as smooth as those fun io games we all love!
