Yooka-Replaylee seemingly includes full game on the cartridge

One game which has seemingly steered away from the controversial Game-Key Card format is Playtonic’s upcoming Yooka-Replaylee. The remake of the original 3D platformer appears to contain the full game on the cartridge. That’s according to the game’s newly published box-art. A release date for Yooka-Replaylee has yet to be announced.

    1. The original game wasn’t never that bad (at least once the update rolled around).
This is supposed to be an improvement (the only annoying part is having to do everything all over again in more or less the same game, the same five worlds).
The way Nintendo has been extra lately with a bulk of the Switch 2’s library, this game will become more popular, since its one of the few games you actually OWN, which is pretty sad….

    2. Presumably depends on how much they took feedback and improved it. The original wasn’t a disaster, it was a perfectly competent game (damning with faint praise I know). It needed tuning up and a bunch of quality of life stuff. Better camera at points. If they sort out issues then there’s been a mini revival of collectathons that they could take advantage of.
