The legendary Square Enix developer Tetsuya Nomura has commented on the state of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 and Kingdom Hearts 4 both of which we’ve heard nothing about for quite some time. Speaking during the second anniversary news stream for the mobile game Final Fantasy 7: Ever Crisis, Firstly addressing Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 Nomura said, “We are indeed making a lot of progress with the game. We already have decided when we will make the announcement as well. And we will stick to that time schedule. So don’t worry, but please wait for it.” Nomura then said the folllowing on the long-awaited Kingdom Hearts 3,“On that same note, I’m seeing a lot of comments on Kingdom Hearts 4. We are making great strides and going according to schedule.” Square Enix had said that it was doing away with exclusives after disappointing sales of Final Fantasy XVI and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, both of which launched as PlayStation 5 exclusives.

What?! Bro shut up the games are not rushed that excuses for them making garbage there are so many games taking way longer than usual which result in increased budgets guaranteeing a flop not to mention their still buggy mess or brickware Cyberpunk2077. Square Enix will go under soon enough and Kingdom Hearts 4 will not be made big disappointment for this gen.
If Square had out more money into KH instead of FF they’d be in a better place the KH games would sell better and were not locked to PS5 because of contracts. Instead they wasted money on FF flops Stranger In Paradise, 16, Part 3, and honestly 14 and mobile games then add on the other flops they make they did this to themselves. Supposedly Nomura wants to make new console games they just reject it and it gets turned into cheaper mobile games or forced into the main games in weird ways specifically 3. The feedback groups at Square are very old and out of touch they do not like KH or will try to gaslight and say they like 1 but nothing else and claim that somehow makes them a fan and why they should have say in the franchise despite not playing the majority of games and just their disregard for the fandom and game. I don’t see now how 4 fixes things they won’t tone down the Disney like fans wanted, they abandoned the TWEWY stuff and FF characters, Nomura promised 3 would be the darkest which it wasn’t it was modern Disney slop, no Oswald because some weird thing at Disney, and they refuse to let him use Atlantis, Treasure Planet, or Black Cauldron probably wouldn’t let him use Titan AE but for whatever reasons the tards Square listens to want their MCU slop and Star Wars in this it doesn’t fit. People like Maximilian Dood who helped ruin Capcom, ruined Square, and now ruining Bandai Namco looking to ruin Sega next

Final Fantasy 7 was originally all one gane.
Reminder he said this about Missing Link numerous times now it’s canceled. FF7 is 100% happening 2027 but KH4 probably not.
Unless there are screenshots or trailer, I give these updates very little credence.
They showed screen shots and a trailer for Missing Link as well the after that got canceled screenshots for 4 game seems to be canceled or will be. 7 part 3 will release 2027 for sure no other games from Square that year in AAA space that year could also be the PS6 release year and when UE6 comes out knowing Nomura and Square they may scrap the game again for UE6
I didn’t even know FF7 was getting a third remake! I didn’t even bother with the PlayStation 1 version, and never got around to the second although X caught my eye for the series again. The only commitment I made with that franchise was the CGI move Advent Children (which I loved!). Kingdom Hearts will always have my heart though. What new Disney members do you think are gonna join the game this time you think for 4?
