A brand new Pokémon spin-off game all about the shapeshifting Pokémon, Ditto, has been announced for Nintendo Switch 2. Developed by Game Freak and Koei Tecmo, a release date has not been shared, but the game, titled Pokémon Pokopia, is planned to launch sometime in 2026. This trailer infuriated me. It’s completely alright for Pokemon to steal ideas and art styles, and mechanics from other games. Pokemon used to be my favorite game franchise but ever since towards the end of the 3DS, they’ve only made me sick.
Its alright for millions of companies to steal from Harvest Moon even lazly copying it like Stardew vally does. and this game art style is typical.
The Pokémon Company would rather spend millions of dollars on garbage spinoff games than make a proper Pokémon Platinum remake.
I couldn’t agree more, there’s no way I’m buying this game, it’s totally not worth it and dumb and stupid, that’s a total waste
