Nintendo has unleashed the Japanese overview trailer for the long awaited remasters of Super Mario Galaxy and the sublime Super Mario Galaxy 2. The trailer showcases the newly remastered visuals for each game as well as giving glimpses of some of the classic planets Mario will visit on his galactic adventure. There’s seven minutes of footage to feast your eyes on. Check out the overview trailer for both Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 down below.
Despite the price im looking forward to these, never played Super Mario Galaxy 2 but the first one was fun.
Yea at least they are selling these separately since G1 we already bought in that limited window. Will be interesting to see if there’s any improvements for galaxy 2, but no wiimote is already a downgrade for this game, imo.
Did anyone else notice what looked like some minor frame drops in the trailer? I really hope these games are locked at a rock solid 60 fps.

Im almost sure that the remasters of Wind waker and twilight princess were 40$ when they came out, and even Galaxy 2 could be downloaded for around 10€ on the Wii U…. As much as i like nintendo, they went really overboard with the prices.
Found out mouse controls are only for player 2. Not buying again. The pointer in 3D Allstars was horrible beyond words

I don’t know why people are so critical of the gyro aiming, it only took me about an hour of playing Galaxy 1 on the 3D All Stars collection to get used to it, and honestly it’s since become my preferred way of playing it.
And this is speaking as someone who put God knows how many hours in the original Wii version.
