A creator makes LEGO’s Game Boy set actually playable

The LEGO Game Boy set looks fantastic but a major caveat is that it is not playable. This being 2025 and all one creator has managed to make it fully functional and able to play Games Boy games. Natalie the Nerd has made the device play genuine Game Boy cartridges, using real hardware. To create this playable LEGO Game Boy, Natalie created a special circuit board with Game Boy chips soldered on also adding clickable buttons and the “smallest screen kit on the market.” The playable LEGO Game Boy also has a a USB-C port to run everything, so you don’t need to worry about batteries.
