The official Final Fantasy X account has announced this evening that physical editions of Final Fantasy VII, VIII, and IX are all coming to the Nintendo Switch family of systems in North America in December. Final Fantasy fans and newcomers can purchase the new physical editions on 9th December. This is the first time the physical edition of Final Fantasy IX on Nintendo Switch has been available outside Asia.
I already got the multilanguage version of VII/VIII from Play-Asia a long time ago, need to get IX. Also, took them forever to do one for the US region.
Still hoping for FF9 Remaster/Remake, but this is better late than never as far as U.S. versions are concerned. Also, since it’s the Switch 1 it’ll be physical game cards, not the stupid game key cards, which is a plus.
