Nintendo unleashes two Metroid Prime 4 adverts featuring new boss

Nintendo has released two short and sweet commercials for the upcoming Metroid Prime 4: Beyond which is due to be released on 4th December. The marketing campaign for the long awaited game has truly started with the new advert showcasing a new unnamed boss and highlighting the 120fps mode and the sharper visuals when played in 4K resolution.

  1. It’s not a new boss or unnamed btw, it was shown in the March trailer and is called Carvex. It does show new footage of it though. Anyway, can’t wait for this game, looks amazing

  2. Funny how the add that depicts the mouse controls has the LOCK-ON so you actually can´t see how the mouse reacts.

jokes aside, 120FPS as Alekhandro says, is pretty impressive. I’ll go for 4k 60fps though.

    1. I tried 120fps when playing Silksong, and I couldn’t tell a difference. I’ll try 120fps again for MP4 for a bit, but it’s entirely possible that my eyes just can’t differentiate between 60fps and 120fps.

      1. Cosmic Tornado your tv must support 120hz or 60fps and 120fps will be the same, also stable 120fps is very distinguishable from 60fps you will feel its scarily very real life like motion.

        1. You have to understand that that’s not the case for everyone. I can’t always tell the difference either. Welcome Tour confirmed this for me.

          1. Your tv is 120hz? If so am starting to suspect that tv quality brand is a factor too, maybe some low quality 120hz TVs the difference in them between 60 and 120 is not too big

            1. I have two 120fps tvs that I tested it on, and I even tried testing it in handheld mode because the Switch 2 has a 120hz display. Unfortunately for me, I just couldn’t tell the difference in Silksong.

Again, I’ll try it all again for Metroid Prime 4, but maybe I just can’t tell a huge difference. We’ll see.

  3. Cosmic tornado I just want to add turn off Motion Rate or motion flow tecnology on the tv any frame manipulation tecnology in your tv turn it off, because they blur the motion and make 60 and 120 simmilar, also try it on a 3d game
