A Nintendo fan has uploaded the cinematic introduction video for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond on the Nintendo Switch 2. We caught a glimpse of it at the Treehouse live stream, but there’s no voice overs in this video, so you can sit back and watch the dramatic introduction unfold in peace. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is scheduled to launch on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 later this year.
Here’s the Metroid Prime 4 Beyond opening cutscene

“Later this year”… I’m becoming less and less convinced. Some games have release dates set very far in the future like Winter 2025 or 2026, but this one always just says “2025.” I hope for the best it will be in the fall, and at worst by Christmas…
I’m guessing it could be releasing in October.
Well at this point, don’t release it before Switch 2 hardware is flowing and not too hard to get. I just want a switch 2 by the time MP4 is out, couldn’t land an S2 preorder.
I’m thinking September.
Metroid Prime was the best Metroid game. Blew my mind. Nothing else can compare. Fusion was also a great game but not as eye opening as the original Prime experience was.
Wholeheartedly agree.
Nah. I like more loner, more empty spaces. Metroid isnt on big cities and nations..
