SEGA has announced via a press release that the immensely fun Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds has already surpassed one million copies sold worldwide. The Japanese company also released some fun statatsics which include the game being raced over 74.5 million times, over 31.5 million Grands Prix played and over 13 million Ranked Matches played. The free downloadable character Joker from the Persona series is also available today along with Joker’s vehicle, the Arsène Wing. The Joker Festival begins in-game tomorrow.

If I get this game at all, it won’t be ’til next year- I think Prime 4 and the Sylux amiibo are my last game purchases of 2025. Emergency car repairs will do that to one’s budget.
Did it make the money back given all the crossovers?
At least SEGA making the game more useful now since it has surprised our expectations.
