Pokemon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension DLC launching December

Today, The Pokémon Company International announced that the Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension DLC will launch on December 10, 2025, for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch. TPCi also revealed that a new side mission featuring Mythical Pokémon Diancie is now available in Pokémon Legends: Z-A.

Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension introduces Hyperspace Lumiose, a mysterious alternate version of Lumiose City shaped by spatial distortions. Guided by donut chef Ansha and Mythical Pokémon Hoopa, Trainers will explore the new dimension where powerful Pokémon await, including the debut of Mega Chimecho and Mega Baxcalibur.

Trainers can now claim a Diancite Stone through the Mystery Gift feature in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. This unlocks a new side mission, “Shine Bright like a Gemstone,” where Trainers can encounter and catch Mythical Pokémon Diancie. Completing the mission allows Trainers to Mega Evolve Diancie into Mega Diancie and experience its radiant power in battle.

  1. Sweet. This would’ve been a great Christmas gift, but I already pre-ordered the DLC. Too bad this is evidence that The datamine is right. At least I can try to get Mega Delphox.

  2. Well, I was planning for the February release date and that has changed now. Looks like I will be having to get the campaign finished and try to rack up my Pokedex and Mega Stones before this DLC launches. I thought I had enough time to kick around in the game. At least I am half way done with the campaign right now. I might even hold off on the DLC a bit to get more powerful Pokemon and mega stones when it launches. Get the side quests done too.

You can always do AFK shiny hunting and if you don’t have the shiny charm by the end you should attempt the AFK 1k battles provided you have a device or controller that has macros and software to do them. If you don’t have a controller that does that I recommend the 8BitDo Pro 3, kinda pricey but worth it.
