Bandai Namco has announced its post launch plans for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. There will be an update deployed which will improve the visuals on the Nintendo Switch edition of the game. There will be the ability to upgrade your copy if you play the game on the Nintendo Switch 2. This will give improved resolution and presumably framerates. You can check the before and after images of the Nintendo Switch version without the update and with the update. The update is scheduled to be released on 14th November. here’s some further information about the update.
“As a point of caution when applying the update, some save data from when Nintendo Switch™ version of the software was played on Nintendo Switch™ system can be carried over, but battle replay data, edit data created in custom battles, and online battle records cannot be carried over.
Conversely, after applying the update on Nintendo Switch™ 2 system, then returning to play Nintendo Switch version of the software on original Nintendo Switch™ system, some data can be carried over, while others cannot.
If you play the Nintendo Switch™ version of the software on the Nintendo Switch™ 2 system with the update applied, you will be able to battle online or offline with users who are either playing the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version of the software, or the Nintendo Switch™ version of the software on Nintendo Switch™ 2 system with the same update applied.
However, please note that you will not be able to battle online or offline with users who are playing the Nintendo Switch™ version of the software on the Nintendo Switch™ system.”

Nintendo Switch 2

Stable 30FPS is a-ok for me. Kirby Star Allies first gave me a bad impression because it was on less powerful hardware. Switch 2 was fortunately able to change that, and a stable 30FPS makes a whole difference, including the load times.
Can we get Bleach Rebirth Of Souls ported to Switch also. Wouldn’t mind collections too for old Naruto games, One Piece, Dragon Ball, and Jump crossover games. Then again Bandai should let those licenses go they seem to not want them given cancelations.
Honestly they should let the licenses go, Bandai Namco doesn’t care they instead waste money on Bloodwalker, Unknown9, and Tekken just let the licenses go so we can get good games again. CyberConnect2 is not exclusive to them so Naruto more so Boruto games can be made without Bandai. Same with One Piece and other IP. Seven Deadly Sins isn’t SJ but it is a license and look the new game looks better not under Bandai Namco. Savvy should sign a deal to take the Shonen Jump licenses finally fund a good crossover game with CyberConnect2 directing.
Head of marketing at Bandai Namco lied said that original Dragon Ball characters specifically Tao and ChiChi would be in the base game when they are not.
Comes out when Friday? I swear game is missing so much and still no tease for DLC making people wait for January for a reveal. They honestly need to just make Tenkaichi 5 and right the wrong. Past 55th Shonen Jump anniversary and we have no crossover game even worse they teased it after taking down Jump Force.
