Nintendo has announced via Nintendo Today a new Direct focussed on the upcoming The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is due to take place on Wednesday at 6am PT / 2pm UK time. We will presumably get our first look at the new animated movie which is a joint project between Nintendo and Illumination.

Last I checked there wasn’t any law forbidding Directs to happen in quick succession. Plus a movie Direct and a game Direct are even more different from each other.
