Nintendo has announced on the Nintendo Today app that The Legend of Zelda Movie has started filming in New Zealand and has shared the first official screen shots from the movie. This post will be updated when the higher resolution screenshots are published online by Nintendo.

The costumes are more detailed than they first appear. Zeldsa’s tunic has a repeating Triforce pattern embroidered into the fabric and the triforve pattern repeats itself in the belt for the quiver of arrows. Seems that a bit of effort and thought is going into the designs. If the costumes look too lavish it will look fake, by making the designs more simple it gives them a more natural and worn look, that makes it more believable.
