Metroid Prime 4 Switch 2 download card reveals file-size is 29GB

The Japanese download card for the upcoming Metroid Prime 4: Beyond has revealed the game’s file-size and it is listed at 29GB. It could end up being slightly bigger if it gets a Day One patch etc, but it should be around that size when it launches on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on 4th December.

    1. Even if it was, just buy it physically if you’re worried about internal storage. That’s my plan- if I CAN get it physical, I’m going to, and I’ll save my internal storage for games that are download-only.

  1. Retro Studios knows how to compress file size without losing anything. We will see the final file size for download though I’m buying physical.

  2. M4 is going to review (and sell) so poorly. They have taken out some of the main components of prime 1 that made is so good (isolation and figuring things out on your own) and stuffed it full of all the worst modern gaming traits possible. Such a shame.

      1. This is so commonplace now, people spout “facts” about a game and how it plays even tho no one has seen more than an hour of the game and the rest is just them filling in the blanks with their own negative thoughts. Gaming fans these days are just so upset at the world for no reason it’s crazy.
