Today, The Pokémon Company group revealed that Mega Lucario Z is making its debut in the Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension DLC when it launches on December 10, 2025, for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.

In Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Trainers can now claim a Mewtwonite X stone and a Mewtwonite Y stone through the Mystery Gift feature. This unlocks a new side mission where Trainers can catch the Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo and add it to their team.

That explains why Lucario already had a Mega Evolution. It doesn’t explain why Lucario needed to get a second one that’s just a little less spikey with longer dreadlocks. At least they tried to make the Mega Charizards and Mewtwos look somewhat different.

My first time seeing Lucario was on the mystery of Mew movie and it is still one of my favorite pokemon.

Makes you wonder how much more content they will add after this DLC launches next week. In order to keep this game fresh for a bit, they have to keep adding stuff to it and maybe even more DLC. Personally, I feel they launched this DLC story content too soon. I finished the main campaign. But, I was planning to take my time with it and ended up having to blow through it to reach the December 10th deadline for the DLC launch. All the catching them all and side missions is just filler for now and beyond. I have no one to impress and keep happy other than myself. Pokemon Pokopia launches in March. I am wondering if they are planning to keep that going for a length of time.
I doubt we’ll get more DLC, they might focus on the next core series game(s) instead… Buuuuuuuut if we got more DLC, I want megas for Wigglytuff, Persian, the eeveelutions, Omastar, Kabutops, Typlosian, Galar Slowking, Togekiss, the remaining fully evolved Unova starters, Zoroark, Gothitelle, and the fully evolved Alola starters. Maybe Flygon to so the meme can end.
I need an update that allows Bronzong, Gastrodon, Toxicroak, Drapion, Liepard, Golduck, Sesmitoad, Jellicent, Whiscash, Flygon, Floatzel, Beartric, Tsareena, Drednaw, Coalossal, Grimmsnarl, Hatterene, Copperajah, Drifblim, Dusknoir, Weavile, Electrivire, Magmotar, Boltund, Exeggutor, Poliwrath, Crawdaunt, Kingler, Hitmonchan, Ninetails, Tentacruel, Walrein Luxuray, Golem and Rhypeior. Not asking for mega evolution. Just wanna see them in za.
