Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Nintendo Switch 2 Edition now available

Today, SEGA officially launched the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Nintendo Switch 2 Edition digitally! Nintendo Switch 2 users can now race alongside Sonic and friends to compete for first place! 

The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is available digitally for players at $69.99. The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Upgrade Pack is also available for $10.00 USD for owners of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds on Nintendo Switch 2, with content and progress able to transfer over via the upgrade. 

Beginning today, December 3, 2025, from 4:00 PM PT until 11:59 PM PT on December 11, 2025, there will be an introductory discount for the Upgrade Pack, priced at $5.00 USD.

The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is available digitally today and physically early 2026. For more details, please see below:

    • Digital Standard – $69.99 USD 
  • Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Upgrade Pack
    • There is a $10.00 USD paid upgrade path for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch-OLED Model, and Nintendo Switch Lite users.
      • Beginning today, December 3, 2025, from 4:00 PM PT until 11:59 PM PT on December 11, 2025, there will be an introductory discount for the Upgrade Pack, priced at $5.00 USD.
      • With the paid upgrade, content and progress will carry over to Nintendo Switch 2.
  • Werehog DLC Pack
    • The Werehog DLC Pack will be available to download for free for the first 2 weeks of the digital version’s availability, beginning today, December 3, 2025, from 4:00 PM PT until 3:59 PM PT on December 17, 2025.
