Nintendo says it will fix some known issues in Kirby Air Riders

Nintendo has posted on X to say it has identified two issues in the recently released Kirby Air Riders which it is presumably set to fix with a software update for in due course. Thankfully, these aren’t game breaking bugs and some of you may not have noticed them at all. We will let you know when the update is released.

“In Kirby Air Ride, we have confirmed the following issues:

  • In City Trial, the event “Dyna Blade is Coming!!” may occur less frequently than intended.
  • In Free Run mode, playing for an extended period may cause the timer to behave incorrectly.

We are currently working on an update to fix these issues and aim to distribute it soon.
We apologize for the inconvenience.”

  1. Kinda goes to show Nintendo’s quality control compared to other big names in the industry when they put out a statement for known bugs and it’s just this lol

  2. This news site has my respect much more than Kotaku. Sickr actually used the proper name X. Kotaku is for old people apparently. They still call X, Twitter.

    1. Any self-respecting gamer stopped giving attention to Kotaku a decade ago. They’ve been proven to be incredibly biased, take additional payments for specific political views and stances, as well as specific scores for reviews. They were, if I recall correctly, the first to strike for “better circumstances” or whatever nonsense it was then returned from their strike and became a cancer run shitshow.

      1. Hopefully. But from a games perspective the anti woke need to actually support games like Kirby Air Riders and Ninja Gaiden 4 make those top the charts to prove a point because now woke games are doing better like Yotei.

    2. only deluded Elon cultists call Twitter ‘X’. personally I prefer the name Xitter because it sounds like Shitter, which is exactly what it is.

  3. What’s the matter, won’t let me comment on my alt account either? Well, who needs you? Video games have gone downhill anyway. More like my Sonic news.

  4. Literally just an article about Kirby and you weirdos found a way to trash others for political views you don’t like. Take a shower and get out of the basement every now and then.

  5. I would love it if spin attack could be assigned a button. flicking the same stick I use for steering is annoying.
Increasing the maximum time limit for City Trial would be nice too.
And I find it weird that Air Ride is limited to 6 riders, unless you get a race as your City Trial end mode, then it can have 8. Why not let us have 8 player in regular Air Ride?

  6. In City Trial, I’ve experienced one of the issues mentioned, thankfully not game breaking, but still annoying. Will the software update also improve overall performance or just fix these two specific issues?
