Another Game Awards has come and gone, celebrating every corner of the video game industry and bringing with it a plethora of game reveals, no matter your preferred platform. World premieres are the main reason most gamers tune-in to the event every year, but the heart of The Game Awards is the awards themselves, to honor the developers who make the games we love. 1. I don’t hate MK8 at all, but man I just don’t ever wanna play it again. MKWorld just feels so much better to play. Definitely prefer World’s physics over 8’s.

      2. Actually, I have, and I still prefer 8. For starters, 24 racers on those small tracks is too much chaos- at least when I get hit in 8 I don’t get infinite-comboed and drop from 1st to 20th in a span of 5 seconds. And I hate the roster this time around- half of it is just random NPCs and enemies like a cow, a dolphin, a bat, a plant, an insect… In favor of any other Kong, E. Gadd, the Koopalings? And they removed Kamek as a racer and made him an item as well as one of the most unreliable ways of unlocking anything in a game ever? No thank you.

And that’s a fraction of the things I don’t like about World.

    1. The shill got it because Critical Role probably pushed for the no brain to win. Won’t forget Sneako got him to admit he supports pdf if its the left wing guy has no brain or real opinion. How is he content creator of the year. Kai is the same created by talent agencies but he is more popular. After the streamer awards watch them call this racist too just saying….Moist should not even be nominated his acting also sucks that game Dispatch was horrible only worse actor was Alannah Pearce who has a bigger ego.

    2. People need to buy Ninja Gaiden 4 really boost that games sales if you have criticism of the industry that game is the answer. Demand a Switch 2 port.

    1. In what world? Just because the reddit crowd hated Mario Kart World and tried to make Sonic Racing a thing didn’t mean it would win also the game flopped.

      1. Flop is crazy. The game sold over 1 million copies in less than a month and has sold more since. It has higher reviews than MK World as well, among users on Metacritic, not just on Twitter/X.

Mario Kart is just an industry darling and one of Nintendo’s strongest brands.

  1. This was horrible I’m sorry. I saw the rerun essentially and the announcements are all from dumb AAA publishers that waste money, China, and mobile/gotcha games. Show is anything but pleasant to watch.

  2. Why not have an award for game that finally arrived like Metroid prime four 2025 or have a Darksiders 4 trailer or a new Zelda adventure

  3. Sonic fails yet again 😂

Always a pleasure to see Sonic being trounced by Mario yet again 😊
Even with forced, low effort fanservice from other (and better) franchises, Sonic still can’t beat Mario. How embarrassing 🤭

  4. Even mario looses sometimes

DK Bonanza beats mario kart at best family game hip hooray 😂 also pretty derby was well deserved 😁👍

  5. Best thing shows was Gang Of Dragon glad to see the best dev back Nagoshi and him doing Yakuza the way it used to be but somehow better. Modern Yakuza is trash and goofy ever since he was less involved with the PS4 era those games all sucked Kiwami’s, 0, 6, and 7 compared to the PS2 and PS3 era and most of those staff left with Nagoshi so hope too see that tone return like Majima before Sega ruined him the most popular character with everyone especially women ajd kids only to be ruined with 0 killing his origin.

  6. Esports has become quite popular today. Modern platforms, such as https://daytona-spins.co.uk/, are created with user convenience in mind. A clear section structure and adaptive interface help quickly find the desired games. Users can manage their balance and participate in promotions through their personal account, which makes the service more functional.
