    1. Perhaps you have misread the information or just reacted to the headline, the PS5 sales were down by 57% so much bigger drop than Nintendo’s.

      1. Ohh, well i usually check VGChartz and these last weeks PS5 went ahead of SW2 for some time. But yeah, Nintendo at the moment shows the healthiest numbers out there

  1. The headline grabs negative attention but in reality this says that Nintendo have actually seen the lowest drop out of the 3 big players, obviously due to the fact Switch 2 released. I imagine they see any drop as slightly disappointing though, especially with a new hardware release

    1. The economy is collapsing. We’re headed towards a recession, then a depression. It looks like the console market is set to be a casualty of this.

  2. I thought this was global. But no surprise. Nintendo fine but Sony and Microsoft in the toilet no point in buying their garbage. Normies/tourists and fanboys refused to hesr the truth and are now shocked or attack Nintendo fans as crazed, Switch was always better and Switch 2 will capitalize on that success unlike Xbox horrible leadership and PlayStation there are no games really and most go to PC actual gamers saw this coming. Even worse if the PS6 is close to Steam Machine price then just buy the Steam Machine and it seems it will be around there I mean I still think it will be $800 for a PS6 with disc drive if they go that route.

  3. Well what Holiday release is there to look forward to? Nobody buys Metroid, Legemds undersold Arceus and the DLC is cheeks, they needed a big juicy Mario Kart World DLC announcement or something to get eyes back on them. It will obviously continue to sell well but for the Holidays at $500 you need hype.

  4. £399 is too much for casual gamers. There a millions who will never buy one for that price. No excuses or justifications will change that. The only thing that could is if the cost of living eased and they had more money to spare….Even then 399 is a bit too much to risk if there’s a chance the recipient could get bored quickly. They have to get it down to £299 ASAP
