Monster Hunter Wilds update datamine mentions Nintendo Switch 2

Capcom has been steadily updating Monster Hunter Wilds with new content and presumably better optimisation and recently released Title Update 4. Dataminers have been combing through the data and have discovered mention of the Nintendo Switch 2 in the game’s source code. It seems likely that the Nintendo Switch 2 will eventually get a Monster Hunter game, but whether it’s Wilds remains to be seen.

  1. Too late. I’m already convinced we’ll never get Nintendo collabs in Monster Hunter Wilds. Besides, the Monster Hunter IP has enough money as it is. When I say “I like Capcom”, what I mean is “I like the Mega Man IP”.

    1. Wilds underperformed and the playerbase fell off a cliff add on I don’t think they mads back money on marketing. Having IShowSpeed promote the game. Capcom really has been wasting money on collabs, game awards trailers, and Capcom Cup it is not looking good. Add on flops like Exoprimal, Path Of The Goddess, and Dragons Dogma 2.

      1. Wasting money on SF6 didnt help the 1 million dollar prize and marketing also crossovers really expensive and not paying off. Capcom is done. Saudi Arabia is buying them needs to happen now.

  2. Interesting, I enjoyed Wilds, but it was kinda lackluster. I’d double dip though. MH belongs on S2. Capcom has had a good record of bringing MH titles to Nintendo consoles, so im hopeful.

  3. I wouldn’t buy a S2 to Save my life until Maybe BoTW (S1 Launch) drops from 59.99…but it’s Nintendo…..None of their own IPs even dip in Price always the same. It why I buy Used when it come to NIn…..greed…..greed. No way I’d go for MH on any Nin by now. Just got 4k and im not thinking it’s the best either…..
