Atlus has reminded everyone that the beloved Persona franchise is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2026. It wouldn’t be an anniversary without some announcements and Atlus says it is planning something for 8th January. As with previous anniversary updates it is not clear whether this will just be an announcement for a concert or something a little more meaty. Well, we won’t have to wait long to find out.

    1. Random but I actually wanted a Persona X Pokemon crossover game and Atlus to make a Pokemon game T rated. Also wouldn’t mind a Arc System Persona vs Disgaea game and Shin Megami Tensei crossover game involing all Atlus IP.

  1. Hopefully we get a tease of Persona 6 soon (it HAS been nearly 10 years since P5- one of the best games I’ve played in the last decade), but maybe they’re waiting until the Persona 4 remake releases before they show 6. Who knows. I’m willing to keep waiting for both games though.

    1. Same. New Persona Atlus has yet to win me over the creator left aftet 2 but the new people from 3 onwards have left so not sure where they go. Sidenote want Switch ports of Devil Survivor 1 and 2 and anime adaption of 1.

  2. Just give me a rerelease of Persona 4 The Animation on Blu Ray and dub Persona 3 movies. Also rumors were Persona 2 would get a remake shocked it never happened same with Persona 5 Arena. Persona 2 anime would be cool in that art style.

  3. Samus staying mostly silent in Dread makes sense given how much the series relies on environmental storytelling and player projection. Her restraint actually amplifies tension, especially when movement, music, and enemy AI are doing the emotional heavy lifting. It’s similar to how execution timing shapes player perception in other systems, which I ended up examining while testing mobile runtimes via Download Delta Executor iOS
. When less is spelled out, the underlying mechanics matter more.
