Nintendo continues to be the No.1 company which Japanese university Freshmen and Sophomores want to work for when they eventually graduate. Nintendo is obviously renowned for its lengthy list of iconic video games coupled with a great work place environment. The news comes as part of a survey from Risk Monster Inc. who also revealed that their desired annual income for graduates was between ¥6–8 million.
Following Nintendo (4.7% of responses) in first place were National Civil Servant (3.7%) in second, Google (3.5%) in third, Local Civil Servant in fourth, Apple (3.2%) in fifth, Sanrio (3.0%) in sixth, Sony (2.8%) in seventh, Ajinomoto(2.7%) in eighth, Toyota Motor Corporation (2.5%) in ninth, and Sony Music Entertainment (2.5%) in tenth.

Given that (despite their terrible customer relationshi…) Nintendo is one of the few developers in the world who doesn’t treat their employees like garbage, it’s not really a surprise. Honestly it’s shocking how Nintendo is always seen like the devil incarnate, while Sony a saint when the latter in the last years did WAY graver things than Nintendo did that go way beyond prices policies. Internet discourse has become really dreadful, I really won’t miss it once I finish what I have to finish by half February… until then I have to hold on in this hell…
