Digital Extremes has now publicly stated that it has been working hard on a Nintendo Switch 2 edition of free-to-play game Warframe. While the development team wouldn’t be drawn to reveal a release date, they did say that fans of the third-person shooter should expect smoother visuals, more responsive combat and improved fidelity. Now all we need is a firm release date for the Nintendo Switch 2 version.

Wonder if the Switch edition will support cross save progression so players can carry over progress from other platforms they previously played on.
