      1. Exactly. I’m more worried about digital ID, CBDCs, 15 minute cities than key cards. Just play the games and have fun, much more to worry about.

        1. Damn you British people got it bad turned into brain dead zombies for any corpo slop. You people wanted it so deal with it I guess.

          1. Oh yes, the British who have universal free health care, a government that doesn’t shut down over petty disagreements from people whom it would never affect, and lack major obesity issues amongst their citizens, yes, they have it bad.

      2. Most Nintendo gamers unlike ponies are serious about physical over digital. With the younger generation not into regular releases of games I am curious if GTA 6 launching digital only will effect sales given no PC at launch only PS5 and the remnants of Xbox

      3. No it’s not that serious, BUT if the world doesn’t get blown up, in say 20 years time I want to be able to actually play the games I’ve paid for or sell them rather than not be able to anymore because of shut down servers. I don’t particularly want a useless piece of plastic, look at some of the old nes games, there worth a small fortune if in good condition!

        1. Wii and 3DS games previously purchased through the eShop can still be downloaded. Shutting down the console’s eShop or online gaming feature doesn’t mean you can’t download the digital game again. The only difference with a game key card is that it’s a purchasable digital game, and yes, you can still download it even 20 years from now.

I would have bought all of the Resident Evil games, Tomb Raider, Final Fantasy, and so much more on Switch 2 if they weren’t Key Cards. Sonic × Shadow Generations and Pac-Man World 2, I picked up the original Switch Versions. I have over two hundred original Switch Games and two Switch 2 Games and I got my Switch 2 at launch.

    1. My condolences if you’re depriving yourself of good games because of the game-key card stuff.

When, 3-4 years for now, all that remais is digital media, I wonder if you’ll stop playing games altogether.

      1. The wealthy anti consumer billionaires on the top love and laugh at good little puppets like you. The only reason things are getting worse, more expensive, and not physical is because you all let companies condition your minds, take advantage of you, and you eat up whatever they send out. No standards or self respect.

      2. Nintendo gamers are physical over digital the pony crowd was the same until Sony did it but Nintendo gamers are holding the line credit to them. I am curious if all of you drop gaming if all the big companies go online only? Many people said they’d leave if things went digital which it has said they’d quit if Sony stopped making consoles which I think will Halle n so I am curious
