Nintendo Switch 2 which has been out 7 months has outsold 4 year total of Wii U

The Nintendo Switch 2 is proving to be a great success for Nintendo and is proving to be a worthy successor to the Nintendo Switch sales-wise. The Nintendo Switch 2, which has only been out seven months, has now eclipsed the sales of the Wii U console which was on the market for four years and only managed to sell 13.56 million units. This is compared to the Nintendo Switch 2, which has now shifted 17.37 million units.

  1. We should stop comparing everything to that poor Wii U… I personally liked it, and I still have mine just for Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD.

    1. Facts. The Wii U is based and anyone who disagrees is just salty they are wrong when they thought Mega Man was never going to be playable in Smash. Granted, he was in Super Smash Bros for 3DS first, but let’s be honest, playing Smash bros on a handheld only system is not the same as playing it on a TV screen.

  2. Personally had more appreciation for the Wii U than the Switch. Still haven’t bought the Switch 2, but wasn’t gonna miss getting the Wii U day one. The Wii U served a minority and did its job as a fine gaming console, with the best version of a social media app that will ever have existed
