The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, which launched for all other platforms last year, is now making its way over to Nintendo Switch 2, Bethesda announced in the latest Nintendo Direct. Although a release date has not yet been shared, the action RPG will arrive on Switch 2 sometime in 2026. Check out how the game fares in the announcement trailer below.
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered coming to Switch 2 in 2026

Nice! I was holding off on buying this until it released on Switch 2. Glad to see my hopes were matched.
Yeah give Microsoft more money scumbag!
Actually, I’m voluntarily celibate. Waiting until marriage. And yeah, I’ve given Microsoft money before when I bought the Ori games on Switch, so whoops! Guess I’m evil. Oh well! ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Played on PS5, my only complaint is that most areas are like a ghost town with hardly any npc’s.
Yes, finally a good RPG is coming to Switch 2, TES IV Oblivion. Monolith Soft or even Nintendo could learn a thing or two with this masterpiece from GODthesda Studios.
PS: if you dont agree please dont comment. Thanks
Can we get Rare Replay and Ninja Gaiden 4 now?
I’m not a fan of Oblivion, Skyrim is a better game. The real question is how it will run because it ran terribly on the Steam deck.
