Nintendo Support has published a page for a unspecified Wii Remote accessory for the Nintendo Switch 2. We have already had GameCube games on the Nintendo Classics service, so Wii is likely the next candidate. Of course this could just future planning as the support page itself is naturally devoid of any details regarding the currently unannounced peripheral.

Inclusing a Usb-based sensor bar?
Hold on they might be cooking here omg…
The sensor bar could just be battery operated. You could literally light candles near your TV for the Wii as a makeshift sensor bar.
So Wii is on its way to NSO, Yes!!! Twilight princess will be the first title! 😁
Maybe there just gonna release Wii ports on switch 2 that require you to buy a sensor and Wii mote accessory to play whatever Wii ports they release?
Also just in time for Wii’s 20th anniversary at the end of this year! 😁
While this would be fantastic news, I heard somewhere that this was a glitch in the website (of some nature I’m not familiar with), that essentially lets you combine and jumble entries to end up att basically any combination of things you want.
According to what I read, you can also find a page for “Virtual Boy Web Browser” which is clearly something Nintendo is not planning.
While an exciting concept. They also have a page for the Wii controller on 3DS so this is clearly a glitch.
Watch Nintendo charge $80 for a Wiimote
Apparently it’s a glitch of sorts.
I have a feeling if this ever were to happen the Switch 2 would be the sensor bar hence why it peeks out of the dock.
How about give us a proper N64 library first then a proper GameCube library…why would they even consider a Wii library?
Just bring the eShop back where we could actually buy retro games instead of subscribing to them!?
Where else will they find a page for Wii remote.. in the couch cushions, back of the fridge, in a fortune cookie…
All of you with this “apparently”. Apparently you know nothing so stop with the apparently like you just showed us all a magic trick. Ta Da
