Yesterday we reported that leaker Extas1s said in a video that Square Enix is working on a Kingdom Heart’s Remake of which he claims he’s seen photographic evidence of. Reliable insider NateTheHate has responded to this and says that he’s heard a number of “notable insiders say it is fake.” It was always going to be a stretch that Square Enix would be working on such a product. Now all we need is actual news of the long-awaited Kingdom Heart’s 4.

It’s probably real but hasn’t even got to the development stage yet. Square enix have so many remakes green lit but haven’t even started them yet
What you said makes no sense if the remake hasn’t started yet then it is fake. How could a remake be made in 1 year rumor was 2027 release for the remake and 4 and we know for sure FF7 3 will release in 2027 how does that make sense? Also claim was Missing Link assets were being reused for the remake that was even more of a red flag and claim that it was going ti be Nintendo exclusive originally. It was a lie.

There’s no such thing as KH1, it’s called Kingdom Hearts, and it’s also the oldest/first; which game would need a remake more than the first one?!
Dark Road and Union X because chronologically those took place first and explain what happens in KH3 and 4 not to mention are delisted now so yes KH1which is what it is called now because of KH2 existing does not need the remake.

Using assets from Missing Link it made no sense to use that for a remake. Just by that alone not knowing 1 is not the first Kingdom Hearts in the story order Birth By Sleep took place before and to understand 3 and 4 you need to know Dark Road and Union X otherwise you will be lost

Tbh I’d rather just have the all in one collection ported to Switch 2 than only get the 1st game (my guess is if they did remake it the odds of getting the older games ported would lower tbh)

KH4 has been in development over 7 years but FF7 P3 has been in development less? What is going on? Also to the useless influencers who claim KH doesn’t sell as well all FF games post remake have been flopping Stranger In Paradise, Rebirth, and 16 also 14 has not been meeting expectations Tactics I think flopped too and Crisis Core was the only other hit. KH3 however did what over 5 million at launch but FF7 P2 flopped and P1 sold way less than KH3.
