Leaker claims Wii, Nintendo DS, and SEGA CD coming to Nintendo Switch Online

Video game leaker Shpeshal Nick, who has been rather hit and miss at leaks, has stated that Wii, Nintendo DS and SEGA CD will be coming to the Nintendo Classics range for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers. Wii and Nintendo DS will naturally come, but SEGA CD games would be a nice extension of the current SEGA Mega Drive range currently available on the Nintendo Classics range. Shpeshal Nick says a Wii Remote peripheral for Wii games won’t need a Wii Sensor Bar to be used, which is handy if true.

  1. Veeeeeeery skeptical about this, considering that Nintendo likes to repackage wii games with very little amount of effort to remaster them and sell them at a full price so….

    1. Uh, we need to stop believing that a remake can be made that easily… And besides, if they really wanted to do that, the whole NSO would disappear and they’d be releasing endless remakes, which they don’t do! Also, I prefer that they release remakes rather than everything on the NSO, which has a limited lifespan compared to the others.
And finally, Nintendo is relatively nice in this regard; just look at Sony and Square Enix, who are the champions of remake after remake after remake…

      1. Sorry I totally disagree, the country return remastered was poorly done and had some graphical glitches. Remakes however require time, Wind Waker HD is still one of the greatest Zelda’s ever made and you can tell how much effort was put in to make it shine

        1. So as I expected, just Donkey Kong, not multiple games as originally implied. Also, for as great as WWHD (or WW in general) is, they left out the proper way to play, an inverted Y axis, so it can never be one of the greatest when it’s so restrictive. You just appear incredibly uneducated on the matter as a whole, and just want to complain.

    2. Well it won’t matter since mario 64 and mario sunshine were released for mario 35th anniversary as compilations only for them to appear later as apart nso lineup I’m still skeptical of what the leaker is saying but I wouldn’t be surprise if wii does come out in some point of switch 2 life span.
