Pokemon Pokopia takes 20-40 hours to beat and more content after credits

More information has emerged regarding the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 game Pokemon Pokopia which launches next month. Speaking in a new interview Takuto Edagawa, the chief director of Pokemon Pokopia, said fans should expect to clear the game in roughly 20-40 hours on average and that’s not all, as after the credits roll there’s more content to indulge yourself in.

“So for this game, the main motivation for this game is typically not to go to the end roll [credits]. The whole concept is to create the world with Pokemon and live with the Pokemon. However, as an average, it’ll be about 20 to 40 hours, but it would really depend on how the players play the game.”

“There’s more things to experience after the end roll [credits]. So it depends on what you mean by contents, but I believe that players are encouraged to and will be motivated to continue to play the game.”

  1. You can beat ACNH in that timeframe too, but that’s not why people play games like these so I find it funny anyone asks. Typically by the time you’ve hit the credits the real game opens up to you.

  2. I will get the digital version later. This game will discount for few months later. Trash key card low sales cause the huge discount fee months later.

  3. Twenty to forty hours for the main story of Pokemon Pokopia actually sounds like a solid amount of content, especially if there is meaningful gameplay after the credits. I like when developers design a world that encourages you to live in it rather than just rush to the ending, because that usually means side activities, exploration, and post game challenges are worth your time. It reminds me how players often look for entertainment they can access anytime through a mobile application they can download and install easily, and while browsing options I noticed batery app download being mentioned as a casino style application for quick gaming sessions. Different genre of course, but the idea of extended content and replay value is what keeps people engaged long after the main objective is done.
