Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse announced for Switch

First revealed at Sony’s State of Play, Konami has now confirmed that the the latest entry in the Castlevania series, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, is also bound for Switch.

The 2D action-exploration game takes place 23 years after the events of Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse. Developed by Evil Empire and Motion Twin, there is no word on if a dedicated Switch 2 release is planned, but as of now, it seems it will only be playable on Nintendo’s latest system through backwards compatibility. Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is set for release in 2026.

Konami has another game not Metal Gear being remade by Virtuous hopefully it’s that. Also hopefully Bloody Roar is in development next year is the 30th anniversary.
