Virtual Boy headset can be used with Zelda Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey

The Virtual Boy headset can be used to play games on the Nintendo Switch which received VR mode updates. The games which support this are Super Mario Odyssey, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker. These games were previously updated for use with Nintendo Labo, but Nintendo’s upcoming Virtual Boy headset can do the same job. The Virtual Boy headset will be available on the My Nintendo store and will release on 17th February.

  1. I remember giving botw a blast in vr on labo and as good as it was to see, the best experience is to play it as normal, I also felt a bit sick playing it in vr

  2. I was wondering if this were the case, since it was compatible with Labo. Never used it for more than a few minutes at a time, even with a head strap.

  3. I hope whoever buys it enjoys it but I had the virtual boy as a kid and it hurt my eyes and my head, I’m never going back.
