It looks like the next big unannounced project from the team at Bandai Namco is Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3. The news wasn’t actually announced by the company, but was spotted by eagle-eyed fans who noticed that the company had a YouTube playlist which was titled Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3. Bandai Namco has now removed the playlist, but the damage has been done as the news spread like wildfire on social media.

Xenoverse 1 was a disappointment. Only one custom character per save file, some characters had alternate costumes while others didn’t, and only one stage for “local multiplayer” which back in my day was just called multiplayer. I didn’t buy Xenoverse 2 because I thought it was going to be more of the same. Why should I buy the third one? Can’t they just make a sequel to Dragon Ball Fusions featuring an EX fusion between Adult Gohan and Future Trunks and an EX fusion between Chi-Chi and Bulma? Every Dragon Ball game after Fusions so far is mid at best except maybe sparking Zero.
