Nintendo has announced that Tetris 99 52nd MAXIMUS CUP which is Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2 themed for Friday, 3rd April and it runs until Monday 6th April. Compete in online battles in Tetris 99 mode and collect at least 100 event points to unlock a new in-game theme. Event points are awarded based on rank achieved in each battle you compete in during the event. Good luck to those competing!

This thing is still going? Not upset, just amazed they didn’t give up on this. Concord, Concord 2 (Highguard) and Concord 3 (Marathon) wish they would last this long.
Tetris has timeless gameplay, you can play a match at anytime and it’s still just as fun as ever. But live service games try doing the “addictive” strategy by shoving gameplay gimmicks down our throats. I also am pretty sure marathon is failing because slay the spire 2 launched the same day on purpose to take away from marathons launch. If we look at steam charts, Slay the spire 2 as 200,000 people in it while marathon has 60,000.
Hopefully we won’t have concord 4.
