Rumour: Pokemon Legends Galar to be prehistoric Pikmin-like game commanding groups of up to 30 Pokemon

The next Pokemon Legends game which is currently titled Pokemon Legends: Galar will seemingly have a Pikmin-like aspect where you can command up to thirty Pokemon in your squad. The game was leaked as part of the Game Freak breach, but the Pikmin-style aspect was not initially revealed. Pokemon Legends: Galar will be set in prehistoric Galar and is currently scheduled for a 2028 release or later. Here’s the details:

  • Set in ancient Galar, 1000 years before Poké Balls didn’t exist.
  • Form wild alliances with Pokémon to battle massive Dynamax foes.
  • Theme: “AI × Physics” — focusing on Pokémon behavior, group dynamics, and environmental interaction.
  • Objective: craft the first Gigamax Poké Ball using ancient technology.

  1. Its sad to see that this game was leaked before it was being planned to be release on that year but I thought it was going to be completely cancelled after that whole security breach fiasco in 2024.

  2. Guess Gamefreak saw how everyone liked the changes made in Arceus Legends and decided to say “F-U” and never expand on the mechanics.
