Nintendo has announced that Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness (2005) is now available as part of the ever expanding Nintendo Switch Online library. This is officially the tenth GameCube game to be included with the service, already announced to be coming this month, but never given a proper release date; until now. For those who don’t know, the “Nintendo GameCube – Nintendo Classics” app can be downloaded exclusively from the Switch 2 eShop for anyone with an active Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription.

Awesome news about Pokémon XD! I loved that game. It’s cool to see it’s officially the tenth GameCube title added, and finally getting a proper release date after being announced for this month is great. Downloading it from the Switch 2 eShop sounds super convenient. Can’t wait to dive back in!

I remember buying colosseum, then trading it towards DBZ Sagas. Hating that piece of turd lol and then trading that in towards Gale of Darkness that same year. I’m glad I still have that copy.
Too bad it won’t connect with fire red and leaf green this time.
