NateTheHate uploaded a goldmine of Nintendo-related information in a new video published on YouTube. One of the many things discussed is that he has heard whispers that there might not be another general Nintendo Direct presentation until June. This could be when Nintendo unveils the newly rumoured The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake and the new Star Fox project. As always this is just a rumour and none of this has been revealed by Nintendo.

For example, I heard Nintendo is making a Mario game for the Nintendo Switch 2. They plan to release it when it is finished but they will announce it before it is released.
I heard that Mario will be announced at the next Sony State of Play. Keep it on the down low though
And if I’m wrong- I mean if my source was outdated, don’t tell anybody.
I think the direct will probably be announced after the Mario Galaxy movie premieres first.
How old are you guys? Nate has been very accurate that’s why it’s noted. Another guy posted rumors about Super Metroid coming back barely anyone speaking on it.

It would make sense logically, but I take NateTheHate’s prediction’s with a grain of salt.
Well, it certainly has been a slow 1st party time for the switch 2 with the rumours of the next main Mario being even next year as well.
If there is no direct until June, let’s just hope it’s a good one.

He’s been very accurate. The leakers or insiders you think of are Jez Corden, Rand Al Thor 19, Jeff Grubb, Shinobi, all those guys refused to take their L’s and are full of themselves. Milliea too but haven’t seen or heard anything from her guess because PS5 is near done.
If it is a rumor then shouldn’t be counted as a “gold mine”, it should be called a saltmine instead.
And we already know the 2 biggest games in that direct. So don’t get excited.

What he says is misleading… a Nintendo Direct is only ‘direct’ in name; it is filmed long before its broadcast. He may have heard of a third-party publisher participating (let’s admit that), but in no case can he claim to know when it will be broadcast, even approximately, and I doubt even more that one of his ‘sources’ is Nintendo or related… we know the biggest chatterbox is Ubisoft…
And by the way, we are still waiting for the remake of Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn that he talked about 2-3 years ago, but strangely not a word, huh Nate?..
Just so folks understand the context, this is the same video cited a few days ago on this same blog, in which Nate first says they might have a Direct as soon as April, and then says it could be later, like maybe June. So if they have one anytime in the next three months, he’ll be right.
