Sonic looking at the stars in Sonic Frontiers

We saw recently that Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition was rated in Korea and we’ve yet to hear any news about the game from SEGA. A leaker on the ResetEra forum has stated that it will be released on the Nintendo Switch 2 on 23rd June, When its due to be announced is a mystery with some thinking it could be unveiled at IGN Live the same month. The leaker also claims that it will only be coming to Switch 2.

  1. I am willing to double dip on this. I already owned it on xbox, but I would kill for a portable version.

  2. Only on Switch 2? So this basically says it’s just the version that the Switch couldn’t handle? Then why is it called definitive as if it would be better than the other versions?.. Funny choice of words if it’s a Switch 2 exclusive. If they added extra content then you’d think it would be available as DLC for the other versions.

  3. Roger said his announcement was not Sonic related it was for his appearance on the IGN fest. The hope is he will voice Batman in Injustice 3.

  4. I will 1000% buy this. I actually never got or played Sonic Forces, but I did get Sonic X Shadow Generations on Switch 2. Definitely made me realize I’ve been missing out on Sonic games since I sorta stopped playing after the Gamecube/DS era of games. Hope this gets a physical release as well, would look great on my shelf next to Generations

    1. Sonic Forces is not worth playing, you could literally just play another playthrough of Generations and have more fun. Sonic Frontiers was an alright game, it tried something new with open world exploration and slightly more interactive combat akin to Sonic Heroes. I 100% it and finding all the medals eventually got stale. It was okay for one play through but I don’t think it’s one I’d play again. Also the cyberspace levels in the game (the more traditional level format where you get from point A to B) were really bad because they didn’t change Sonic’s physics in the levels vs open world. Once again you could jut play Generations again and enjoy better individual levels there

  5. Middle aged jobless leaker who lives in his mom’s basement ruins another gaming suprise for gamers, what a suprise🥱
