Shpeshal Nick, who it must be said isn’t the most reliable leaker of the current bunch, has said that Nintendo is currently hard at work developing a new entry in the beloved Luigi’s Mansion series for the Nintendo Switch 2. He also went on to say that Nintendo is planning a new Luigi’s Mansion amiibo to accompany the unannounced game’s release. He earlier said that Nintendo is pitching a Luigi’s Mansion animated movie, though he didn’t elaborate any more on that.

Been years since I heard something from Nick yeah he’s super wrong and more a Xbox leaker. Last thing he was right on was Platinum making a Ninja Gaiden game. Hope Platinum makes Dead Or Alive 7 and brings a better writer like Yuya Takahashi.
I love Luigi’s Mansion, wish they kept to the srt style of the original. I know people wouldn’t like it and it probably wouldn’t be as popular but would love to see some other Luigi Adventure games. Or Waluigi. The misadventures of Waluigi or have it say Super Mario Bros or something and have the entire title crossed out to say Waluigi The Video Game. It can play like a mix between Peach show time but with the random wacky vibes if Wario or something
I think each art style changes differently to each game honestly depending on the advance graphics technology on gaming systems. Take Jojo Bizarre Adventures for example.
Jojo changed because the creators art style changed. Many if not all manga artists styles change.
Eh. Would be super unnecessary. Luigi’s Mansion 3 already stretched things as far as they could. Yet another game with Luigi being somehow tricked into a trap by King Boo, yet another King Boo breakdown (and it would be just a repeat of LM3’s “world apocalypse” on top of that), hell, LM3 wasn’t even in a mansion anyway. They’ve clearly exhausted their ideas for the subseries.
Luigi’s mansion 3 had incredible theming for some floors, but it’s not a mansion, it’s a hotel. They should just rename the series to “luigi in a building”.

Well, yea that’s fairly obvious. Last one did well and it has been a while. 3 was the best one yet so I don’t think it has gotten stale just yet. Can’t wait to see how they evolve the series next.

A little message to Sick: it would be necessary to stop spreading this kind of “rumors” a bit, it gives credit to these leakers who, everyone knows, want to gain visibility and especially money by not caring whether what they say is true or not because they will blame Nintendo and the like…
I prefer to wait for official information rather than constantly reading “according to a leaker” blah blah blah…
