The Pokemon Champions launch didn’t quite go how The Pokemon Company intended with lots of players on social media noticing bugs, missing items and missing Pokemon. Now it emerges that there’s a visual glitch in the game when it’s launched in docked mode. The glitch means that when the game is launched from docked mode it makes the game run at a lower resolution, rather than a higher resolution from handheld mode. A Reddit user has said that to fix this issue you need to re-dock the console or launch the game in handheld mode first and then dock the system.

This game looks worthless to me. Showdown is superior in every way other than, ironically, the graphics which aren’t even that great anyway. A real wasted opportunity because they would rather squeeze even more money out of fans.
I just watched the GVG video for this game. It’s honestly kinda sad what happened to this game. I felt like they should have delayed the game by a couple of months to polish it.

The game needed more time in the oven; I’d rather have it delayed then have a rocky launch.
Wish it had singe player versus mode where I could battle against my own pokemon or rentals like on the original stadium games.
