Bloomberg says Epic Games is working on multiple Disney games

Bloomberg is reporting this evening that Epic Games has been cosying up to Disney and is working on a number of projects for the company. Disney previously invested $1.5 billion in Epic two years ago and the first game is scheduled to be released in November. Sources have told Bloomberg that the game is similar to the popular Arc Raiders game, but instead features iconic Disney characters battling enemies until they can reach an extraction point. Bloomberg said that “internal reviewers have expressed concerns that the game mechanics are not very original, but some of the employees are optimistic that Epic will get it right by the launch date.” We should hear more about the game soon.

  1. I wouldn’t touch Epic Games with a 10 foot pole anymore since the shenanigans. I am for competition, but when the competition is so unable to offer a functional service platform and then complain about their rival, does one really think to buy from them!? I wish Epic Games would be the same old company as they were back in the day, when they created Unreal Tournament, but those days are over and the competition is rising fast. If you think that “Big mouth, big talk” will help you, think again. And Disney is long gone. Their glory day are long over and all they can is to reuse their old stuff to lure fanboys into their net. When it comes to creativity, this one left this sinking ship a long time and only memories of better days stood like a knife in the back of the consumers.
