Japan: Some retailers restricting Nintendo Switch 2 sales ahead of price increase

Nintendo announced that the Nintendo Switch 2 would be getting a price increase soon in Japan and this has seemingly spurred those on the fence into action as the system is currently sold out at popular retailers Yodobashi and Bic Camera. That’s not all as Dr. Serkan Toto says Bic Camera started limiting sales at current prices to buyers paying with a Bic Camera-branded credit card only. Other stores may also use a similar policy going forward ahead of the price increase in two weeks.
