Jeff Grubb says he’s heard there will be a Nintendo Direct by mid-June

Video game journalist and podcaster Jeff Grubb says that he’s been hearing that Nintendo will be holding a Nintendo Direct presentation by mid-June. Nintendo traditionally holds a presentation in June to showcase its upcoming lineup, the same as Sony and Microsoft. This year Xbox is the only announced showcase at present and we’ve got Summer Game Fest kicking off on Friday, 5th June.

  1. Pikmin 5 6 and 7 simultaneous announcement trust

LOL but I was kinda thinking, seeing as its been a year since Gamecube games first came to Switch 2 (and the console ofc, since launch), I wonder if they’ll do what they did with N64 and announce a slate of games as part of the direct that will be releasing throughout the following year (+ maybe 1 or 2 suprises along the way, like Wario World was)

Personally I think this is where we’ll be seeing a lot of those rumored 3rd party ports like Clair Obscur and the RE Remake games natethehate talked about

  2. Unproven Track Record Leaker

    The Direct will contain:
    °Kingdom Hearts IV.
    °GTA V and VI.
    °Final Fantasy XVII.
    °Red Dead Redemption II.
°Final Fantasy VII remake part 3.
°a remaster of Lacrimosa of Dana and Cold Steel 1 and 2.
    °a remake of F-Zero GX.
°Star Fox Adventures and Assault for the NSO.
    °Silksong DLC
    °Metroid Prime 4 DLC

    1. It’s weird, sea of sorrow is currently my most anticipated video game release, and it’s just a free update for silksong. I am also excited for star fox and splatoon raiders, but I am more excited for sea of sorrow since silksong is easily in my top 5 games of all time.

  3. Pretty much expected as usual. Hope to see something brand new, never before seen, not yet been around the block with good old fashioned action or adventure gameplay, as proof they’re not out of ideas yet

  4. He doesn’t bother since it’s likely to be in June… moreover, he is careful not to announce any date.

I can also say ‘I heard that a new Zelda is in preparation and it would come out in 2027!’

    Anyway, just meaningless chatter.
