Known retail leaker Billbil-kun has posted some more information on the currently unannounced Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition for the Nintendo Switch 2. The Definitive Edition features all updates, DLC, and gameplay improvements that were released since the original launch in 2022. Nintendo Switch 2 owners can naturally expect improved performance, better graphics and reduced loading times. Billbil-kun thinks that there could be some sort of surprise with the Deluxe Edition. Sonic Frontiers Definitive Edition will retail for $50, though he says he’s not sure when the game will actually release.

No one is buying this the people that own Frontiers are not coming back until the sequel. This is weird? Was the Switch version that bad? I don’t see people double dipping for this. This is like a bad cash grab if it does do well it creates a big problem showing companies what they can get away with.
Yeah, it sounds like a disappointing release. We will wait and see though.

I already have on Switch, i would say I wouldn’t double dip but I’ve bought three times. I dont think its a great gane though. It isn’t a bad game but definitely mid at Best. I only by fully Physical Switch 2 games but like I said, already bought Frontiers three times, and it never made me feel like great or have great fun. It was just mid, for me
I think switch 2 game key cards of zelda breath of the wild, sonic racing crossworlds and pokemon legends za work on switch 1 but this switch 2 version of sonic frontiers most likely won’t work on switch 1. If it doesn’t work on switch 1, then I don’t have a reason to buy since I don’t have switch 2.
I figured this was a Switch 2 game, but I have it on PS5 already
